Fixed up the Boyds enclosure as I have been playing around with growing moss in a smaller enclosure for a few months now I thought I would go bigger.. if the boyds hurt my moss they are out!

I still have to sort out a way of stopping the moss from drying out as I have to spray it a few times a day atm... ggrrr
So I am looking at some sort of plastic top over the light or a few Myst makers above the tank

that is amazing i don't think i could find the patience to grow moss i bet the boyds love it.

I like moss , I even have a moss enclosure with nothing but moss and plants now , as well as alot of aquatic moss tanks....moss moss moss

Nice effort, looks great and I bet the animals love it.
Do misting systems actually provide enough moisture to keep this stuff alive? I'd had success if there is also standing water for it to wick up from, but you may possbily need micro-sprayers hooked up to a water pump on 2-3 times a day for 20 seconds or so.
Edit - Not that I'd have a clue really, just thinking aloud....

Im not sure about the misting systems atm.. but will look into them , the prob I am getting is the air drying out too quickly because of the warm ambient temp... so will look at plastic top above the lighting and spraying first

Well shrink me down and let me frolic in the moss forest.
That's superb.

Moss is brilliant. We have many "ressurection" species here that look like slightly furry dirt until a drop of water hits them and two days later there is a micro rainforest!

I hope the Boyds dont hurt it. Very nice mate!

How about shallow pans of water at ground level?

Thats amazing dude. I was going to ask a while back if anyone is into aquascaping, but i totally forgot ( I know this isnt totally aquatic but close )

I'm going to try more water in the bottom , the tank can hold 4 or so inches of water

Thats awesome Scleropages. Ive kept fish for years and years. I just sold my 6 footer recently. But now im looking into getting back into it, but more of the aquascaping then anything else so im trying to learn as much as i can. There are some videos on youtube of aquascapes that blow your freakin mind away. At the beginning i could not believe what i was seeing and that it was real !!
