Upsize my womas food

i have been feeding my little woma (4 months old) weaner mice and many people have said to upsize

i went to the pet shop and fuzzy rats looked smaller than weaner mice so i went for weaner rats which dont look to much bigger than the mice. how will i no if they are to big ??

will be feeding in about an hour so any quick replys will be great

Use food twice the size of the thickest part of the snake.

hmmm well itd be close, what if it is to big will snakey just spit it or keep going till he does himself damage??

okay ive decided not to feed him tonight as im not sure what to do ill go buy some fuzzy rats tommorow

as long as the rat is not HUGE compared to the snake you should be fine......if it leaves a nice bulge in the snake its all good.

Yeah, it's certainly capable, but I would hold off and feed a smaller feed... there is no real need to push your luck.

yea all native pythons are known for the fact that they can eat ENOURMAS meals compared to their size, i saw a pic (posted on this site) of a scrubb python that had eaten a goat so large it couldnt move, but even so it had no damage to it at all.

you can definitely feed that to him. i fed a 2 week old quail to my woma last week. lol and thats big.
