i think its bull that we have to pay more for a licence to keep an animal native to this country instead of having to pay more for a feral pet, especialy cats....(indoor cats are fine the moment they go outdoors they are predetors not cute little animals).
victoria kicks ass, however i wouldn't mind living a wee bit to the north, especialy NT. i could collect me own corals for my own tank. fish for my own fish...*drools*.

The reason Tassie is getting closer to the mainland every year is because Victoria sux!!!!!

Is the Mars Bar still going? I visited there with a bunch of Zookeepers one night in '84, I thought it would have closed or chnaged names or something by now.

go moosey, stick it to the new south whalers and the queeenslanders (aka hippies, stinking hippies)!!! you all wish you could live in melbourne. and tasmania is a great place, its just the people who live in it who are a bitt odd

Well, I'd never really thought of it that way. I normally say "because Melbourne/Victoria sux" and people go "Shutup Hix" and it ends there.
But I guess, thinking along your lines Moosey, NSW would be the chest/torso that contains the heart lungs liver etc - all the important bits that keep the rest of the country working. :roll:
And I'm not gonna say what you were implying about Queensland! :lol:
But during the cyclone season, they do get a lot of wind about there.

now come on guys, i know you live somewhere your almost frozen all the time, but i thought even people who live in vic and nsw would realise that at the bottom is the feet, without qld you southeners would be crawling on the above quoted place, my guess you mean W.A. for the part the winds come from, about half way down and at the back,

you can tell your not from around these parts, where did you say you are from, india? china? do you know how many of people from down your way move up here, if this was a dim state, what do you call people from vic and nsw that move up here,
at least we don't have to cool and heat our reptiles up here saving heaps of money, now who's dim?

you really need to get out more often, my best mate come from vic and his wife comes from s.a. the reason they live up here, because it's better, think about it, how many people from qld you know that have moved down there, i know heaps from down your way that live up here because they say it's better, and before you don't think i've been down your way, i lived in penrith for 4 months and adelaide for 6 months and in nz for 5 months, and my sis inlaw is from england and she lives up here to, but knowing your from england explains it all, the weather conditions would suit you more down south then the nice warm weather we have up here,

Wish we could migrate to the NT or Qld from the cold winter months here in the Riverland. Gets damn cold here in the shed/house(uninsulated - well at least we have a great potbelly stove - mmmm!). I'm an expat Sandgroper, but love SA, especially here in the Riverland on the Murray River. Lived in Melbourne for 15yrs while growing up, but don't think I could go back to being a city dweller at all.

Both my parents came from Queensland. And I know it was SLAkra you were aiming your retorts at, but I must say that I've never called any Queenslander 'dim'.
