Weaning rats??

Hi, i am just wondering if it is ok to wean rats away from their mother at 3weeks old? I usually wait till they are 4weeks old but she had a big litter of 14 pups. They are eating on their own but a few of them are stil suckling but they all eat ok, so is it possible to take them away this young and grow them for my snakes?? Thanks for your help any replies will be appreciated.

best to leave them for another week ..as some are alot stronger then others in a large litter ...maybe take out the bigger of the pups but leave the runty ones with mum for another week ...

It is hard to pick but rats faces change when they wean. Before weaning they have "chubby" cheeks, after they have thinner faces
