Hi lol so i havnt been on aps for a week or two...lol, and iv been thinking about getting an order of day old chicks but im not sure how long they would last in the freezer (as i would be growing half and culling half as soon as they arrived) So does anyone know how long they would last whilst still being able to feed them to my pythons safley?
Another question i am looking to start a worm farm to have another food source for my beardies on top of crickets, woodies and mealies, do they have to be in a propper comercial built wormfarm or can i just have them in a tub with some soil? Would they be an appropriate source to feed to beardies? Also where can i purchase the earth worms from? If anyone has a link (as i cant find anything on purchasing them) i would much apreciate it
Thanks ben. :)

I remember see some cardboard boxes or bags or something with worms in them at bunnings when i was there one time.

what sort of pythons do you have? or planning to get, and what size? (hatchies, yearlings, adults?)

as a rule i keep rodents for 6 months max, if vac sealed 12 months max. depending on what species and size of python you have or intend on keeping will depend on how long you can keep the feeding before culling.

also you can, and is much easier, to buy them already culled and frozen. about 50c to $1 each is an average price.

I have a BHP and 2 spotties but im getting either a pair of jungles or dawrwins (young ones not sure how old, as im not sure when im getting them yet) a pair of childreni, and a woma
I just thought that because of the guide on the back of the freezer it says chicken can be stored for 6months, and i already have all my rat breeding facilities up, built and going so i dont really want to buy frozen ones. Thanks

Not hard at all, all you have to do is clean the tubs, feed them every day or two (depending on if you use bowls or not) and fill the waterbottles up every day (again depends on if you choose to use them) i use a soda streme with an air tube going into a container to cull them.
Thanks womapythons, are they able to be fed to beardies though?
