My partner has loved reptiles since he was a teenager, he used to hang around the great Louis Robichaux and kept all types of reptiles before it was illegal to do so (over 40 years ago) As it became legal we got into them again and have not looked back. I suppose it was his love for them that got me interested. When I first held a python about seven years ago at a reptile park I nearly freaked out. Now with nearly twenty pythons and umpteen dragons, skinks, turtles, frogs etc I do all the handling, feeding, cleaning etc.

Been into them since aged about 7 or 8, my brother was always into them and I used to go off walking with mates in Geelong looking for snakes and lizards (back when you could go off for hours on end and come home safely)
Lived in England for quite a few years and really got into reptiles in a big way there. Still wish I could have another Iguana and Retic and chameleons and a caiman and, well that's another thread altogether.

I grew up on a fruit farm in Maryborough. I was forever catching beardies, frogs, bugs and basically anything I could get my hands on. We moved to the little country town of Brisvegas when I was about 7. On my weekends my cuzzy would take me turtling in the creek and basically it was all down hill from there. Ever since then I have been hooked although my mother kept my 'obsession' under control.
