If you dont like it; who cares :roll: Find something that interest's you.....I agree PP; where people from all walks of life, with reptiles being a common interest.....Treads like the 'terrorist-attacks' is a thread discussing one of the serious problems where all facing.......i feel it's important to be able to have the opportunity to air your feelings, comments, with friends who share similar interests.....If you want more herp talk; great , start a thread!!!

life is a b**ch, don't hold your breath for the day everybody would agree on one topic, (it will never happen). this site is for people who has an interest in reptiles, it's like it's own little society, and when your apart of a society it is interesting to see what others think about or find important in life. it gives you a better understanding of that person.

I've been a member here for a long time, I've seen just about every herp related topic that you can think of. Let's face it, just about any herp related thread a person starts has more than likely been done before. Other long term members will know what I'm talking about which is probably why there are so few of us left.

The cycle goes like this:
Hi, I'm new what sort of snake should I get?
I think I will get a Childreni first....or maybe a Green Tree Python.
They cost how much?Why?
Ok. I got a Coastal python instead.
How often do I feed it?
Why wont it eat?
Cool, he bit me.
How often should he poo?
Look, he did a poo.
How often should he shed?
Look, he shed.
Do I need to cool him?
How old before I can breed him?
I've had snake for 6 months.
Now I'm an expert, bask in my knowledge.

Sure there are some stupid threads in chit chat but occassionally the most ridiculous thread will turn up a valuable nugget of information. There was a time when I learnt something everyday on this site. Now I am lucky if it is once a month. It is not because I'm an expert now ( I don't think I ever will be) but simply because there is a finite amount of snake related things to talk about.

biggest problem with this site is its run by mates of mates, and if you are not part of the "IN" group then your opinions dont count, Ether said "I dont have anough APS cred" sorry mate but just by joining gives me anough CRED to post, dont like it then dont read my posts, but you do read them dont you , every one here reads them, what a boring mob of little wankers, and no i wont go away so live with it, like i say go to "oprah winfrey" or "Dr phil", why post about Rape? do you not realise that half the people on here have never even had sex? would you allow your 10 or 12 year old to log on to a "REPTILE" site to read stories of rape and murder. Matty any responsible parent, like me , will be closely vetting what their kids look at on the computer anyway, these same kids will see storys of rape and murder on the news, in the paper, on current affairs type shows, magazines etc etc etc
