One awesome snake and I'm looking for a pair to buy. Just saw on herp trader, WA womas $5000 a pair. That's a little bit of an ouch for the wallet. Will you accept moths?

Yah i agree with u. the usual is 4000, and an adult pair is 6000, though u don't c to many of those.

They are dearer because they are WA Woma - a lineage not offered very often.
They do not grow as big as other lineages - very small animals, slightly different orange hue, less black in the eye patches.
Very Nice.

A mate of mine breeds WA womas, I couldn't quite scratch the dollars together to get a pair this season, but will definately next year. I reckon they are gorgeous.

RE: Re: RE: Womas

I haven't been herping long so i need a bit of guidance... What on earth is the big deal about Womas any way? I really can't see what all the fuss is about, nor can i see justification for such rediculous prices. If you ask me (and i'm sure not many of you will ever again), Diamonds and Centralians are way better looking, oh and Olives too!

RE: Re: RE: Womas

Womas are harder to breed and have smaller clutch sizes. Some people, like me, think they are a spectacular looking snake. Shane thats a beauty i can see why you sell them for that price.

That's sorta like asking what the difference is between a Ferrari and a Commodore. They both just cars.
As for the price. It's called "Supply and Demand" (I can draw you a little graph if it will help). People will only sell them for what others are prepared to pay for them.

RE: Re: RE: Womas

Supply and demand not a difficult concept to grasp... I may not know much about reptiles, but i'm not a moron.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
And personally, i'd rather be seen in a new R8 than a ferrari any day...

RE: Re: RE: Womas

i like womas....but that bright head always makes me think........did they dip them in yellow high lighter?
lol
those ones are really nice tho.....i love BHP's more tho, but as JET said its in the eye of the beholder

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Womas

awwwww thats cute!
how much he worth now with the jewls included?
lol

Re: RE: Re: RE: Womas

I was kinda with you for awhile there until you picked an R8 (presumably a Holden ?) over a Ferrari, there is no hope for you

Now there's a marketing idea Shane!
Free bling bling with every Woma!
that'll be alright as long as the bling bling is a BA XR8
