Question : How many cluchs can a inland bearded dragon lay per season?

I thought it was only 2 but someone said 3 or 4 :|

Thanks peoples ( and others) :D

3-4 is common.. I've even heard someones had 5clutches :)

er,,,, so if all my 20 or so females lay atleast 10 eggs a cluch and 3 cluchs a season , er that means I is stuffed :lol::lol:

LOL your going to need alot of tubs and food   you'll find some females will lay 20-25eggs to, someone on APS said hers layed 34 but about 5 or so were dead.

Most of mine wont lay till next year thank gawd , hahaha , might just seperate them:D , that will stop em breedin

i no i girl whose beardi layed about 100 eggs in 4 clutches and she probley could have got more but sepirated them

The best way to slow beardies down is not so much removing the boys, but reduce the optimum conditions, eg, reduce heat and the abundant food supply. I had a beardie that laid 5 clutches and that is too many as it has an impact on the girls health.
Just my opinion
Cheers
Sandee :)

I recoon that you should nreed them late in the breeding season, so hat they hatch later, that way you've got the poeple that missed all the other breeders buying from you in like march or something.

So did you plan on letting all of them get gravid or is it an accident?

Big accident I diden't think they were big enough to breed this year , next year I was going to breed a few prs I only just sorted out who was male and female a month or so ago :lol: And have just been growing them up because I have never kept beardies before. er

oops:lol: I really feel for you if they are all gravid, I just hatched the final clutch from our females & i'm absolutely exhausted:lol: I had 3 females lay with 7 clutches between them & for my first year breeding it's been really full on. All up we hatched about 150 hatchlings & we've moved on 110 of them so far, it's been an eye opener thats for sure:lol:
Good luck with all of them & I have my fingers crossed for you that they aren't all gravid:shock:

You can always freeze the eggs if you have an abundance ;)
