Hi guys,
I have an almost 4 year old atherton and she has always been very healthy, growing at a great rate (she is 1.2kg at the moment) and is a great feeder. She is in an enclosure at the moment with temp ranges from 28 degrees to 32 degrees at the hottest point and has a large hide, large log in the middle of the tank and shade under the log if need be.
For the last month or so I have noticed that she is not excreting like she used to... she is excreting urate in large dry lumps which seems to be normal for her, but she has not excreted any faeces recently. I read that giving her a warm bath and rubbing her stomach gently may help so I am going to try that soon, but does anyone have any other suggestions? I did notice that the second last time she excreted, there were little brown dots the size of sand all over the urate, has anyone heard of this before? I have tried searching on here and googling online but have had alot of problems finding a proper answer
Thank you in advance for any help
Mel
