Hi all,

one of my central beardies is a bit bloated? I cannot find any signs of impaction (i.e. lump near abdomen, paralysis of hind legs etc.) and eating and bowl movements are normal.

any ideas? its not too dire since all signs seem to point to the fact that he/she is doing fine. he/she just looks really puffy compared to the other one is the only concern. it doesn't seem to mind when i poke it lightly where it is all puffy. This area is not hard, but more like a balloon i guess...

thanks in advance
Renee

How old? Gently have a feel of his/her belly, if you feel some little round lumps then you've got a girl and she's about to drop some infertile (assuming you have her on her own) eggs.

Is the dragon acting unusual at all? Lethargic? If so she may have missed her lay date, might have absorbed the eggs, that's worse case scenario and if so she will need to go to the vet.
