I'm assuming that taking the rock wall out carefully isn't an option? How far is the fall? Ackies are tough and can fall a fair distance without doing any damage to themselves.

its about 50cm straight up i might have to try moving him myself if he doesnt come down soon lol

hye thanks mad_at_arms that is reasurring lol

He's in there because he feels safe and secure. He will come out when he will want to especially when foods around. Maybe hold a cricket just in front of him and he might come out.

he'll come out eventually,

however looking at the picture, are the holes in that chicken wire small enough that he can't get out? or is there something else under it that's clear and can't be seen?

just the angle and the perspective of the photo looks like he could get through there easily.

Yep, I agree with the others. Don't worry about trying to move him. If you're sure he isn't stuck, he will come out when he is good and ready. That is a perfect example of how ackies live in the wild. They love rock crevices and tiny nooks and crannies. The reason they have their ridged tails is to help stabilise themselves in difficult spots.

Ackie's love to be in a tight space like that more than anything. They don't feel secure in a hide unless they are really wedged in, then they often use their big spiky tail to block the entrance to where they are, and hold themselves in place. If you don't already have some, try making/adding some hides under the hot spot and away from it, that 'just' have enough room for the monitor to squeeze into at it's current size. Don't worry about it falling from 50cm either as they are pretty tough and agile little critters!
