I got an offer on my Bearded Dragon and I had to except. She was such a lovely lady and it's for her son who's just getting into reptiles. They have blue tongues. I don't mind at all that I'm selling him but my mum is going to flip. He's mine, I pay all his stuff and look after him but for some reason she has this weird obsession with him. He's the only reptile she likes and it was a huge step when she touched him one day. She's one of those "NO I CAN'T TOUCH IT AHHH" people. She's going to be mad. Ah well; my pet, my choice. How am I going to tell her! Haha.

Oh, sad. Bye bye Robbie. Aren't you gonna miss him? I have only had Diego for about three weeks now but I am soooo attached to him! Hope your Mum takes the news well.

I'll miss him a bit but the thought of having a nice snake in there is alot more comforting. I know that sounds bad but most lizards (excluding geckos) aren't my preference. I think they are great and will play with them no problem but it's snakes for me. Plus he'll go to a home with a kid who'll adore him. I could really use that money for my horse right now since I'm jobless and all.

your crazy !!!!! your not just going to miss him a little bit, but you going to really miss him! or her.. oops.
p.s im kinda glad you got out of that horrible pet shop, it needs to be shut down by the sounds of it!

hehe, mum'd kill me if i sold the lizards, and doubly kill me if i sold the snake,....not that i'd ever consider selling either,..
i'm not even welcome to go over for lunch if i dont bring all 3!!!

Mum lives in NZ and therefore hasn't met my beardies yet, but I don't think she wants to. She's not a big fan of scaly things, I'll be lucky to get her in the same room as them!

mum told me i was silly getting the beardies and should be shot fro geting the snake, its amazing how quickly she changed once she met them,...

I remember when I picked my first snake up from the airport and I (being an excited newbie) opened the bag in the car and brought her out. Mum was like "AH PUT IT BACK I'M TRYING TO DRIVE" and I was just laughing and saying no. Then she started liking the snake and would even touch it's tail when it's head was facing another direction. She was sad when it died but told me it was mainly because I loved the snake so much and was so upset, not because th snake itself was dead.

hey gordo how old are you? lol sorry your not still living with your mum are you? Thats if your over 18

not picking on you, you just sounded very mature when we spoke on here last. if you are still living at home and over 18 it shouldn't matter if you sold any of your snake there yours.

I just need to know how old you are out of curiosity.

I rang her and she didn't answer her phone so I left a message about it. She came home and hasn't brought it up.

I feel good because the lady emailed me saying "Thank you so much Jess. You are going to see one very excited boy on Saturday" =]
