Beardie behaviour

Hi, Im quite new to the world of herps and I have a quick question for any beardie keepers out there. I have 2 beardies, male and female, they are both about 6 months old. Each morning I put them into a large click clack to give them their daily feed of woodies. When I put them in this morning she went nuts running around eating heaps (as usual), but he flatened himself out and puffed out his beard (which had a bit of black in it) and stayed still.
Should I be worried about this behaviour or is it quite normal? Its never happened before.

Pretty much normal, seasonal fluctuations, different environments can effect their moods.
