Hi everyone, thank you so much for all that helped out with Harmony a couple of weeks ago. She was the beardie that was rolling and acting drunk. Anyway she is on anitbiotics and started to improve greatly after 24hrs. She appears extremely healthy now :) Actually I dont think she was well from the time that I got her as since she has been on the antibiotics she is a new little girl.

Anyway i just have a couple of questions if anyone is able to help. Since feeling better I can not get enough food into her. She seems hungry all the time. She has vegies in her cage through the day which she eats most of and then she gets crickets or woodies in the arvo. She acts like she is starved, eating lots of the critters in 5mins. I move her into a smaller container to eat so as the critters are not left in her cage with her. I am just wondering if they only eat what they want? If they know when to stop? I dont want to overfeed her. She is about 6mths old now.

Also does anyone know where I can buy a large quantity of woodies for breeding for Harmony to eat?

Thanks, Kat

Great to hear she's doing so well!!
What size are the woodies/crickets you're feeding her, & approx. how many are u talking in the 5 mins of feeding - 10,20,30.....?

They are still the small crickets and I think still classified as small/ medium woodies. She is eating up to 40 crickets and up to about 15 woodies but thats all I am giving. I think if there were more in there she would eat them too.

Have looked at some sites. Jemmiwoodies sell breeding boxes of some large for breeding and some small for eating now. Has anyone used this company?

Jemmiwoodies - real nice lady, very accommodating & her woodies are REALLY healthy!, & breed like nobody's business.

At 6 mths old, I'd go the medium crickets & woodies. LOL, she is a piggy. But if she's not been well most of her life, let her enjoy the moment. If she's getting really obesely fat, cut back then. As long as you're giving her a couple of hrs heat & light after feeding so she can digest properly, I can't see it being a problem. I'd imagine she'll settle herself as she gets older. :)

Thanks Lollypop - you are a godsend!!! She does have a very fat tummy.
