can the window silcon be used for turtles?

I just used a water and fungal resistant silcon on the ends to stop water absorption. He loves it.

FNQ , i would get your bredli out of that tub quick smart because the silocon you used (water and fungel resistant) is highly poissions to reptiles , the silcon to use is door and window silcon not bathroom and kitchen silcon , its the anti fungel cemicals thats the problem ,if he licks it it could be fatal.

i dont know much about turtles but i would assume its the same with them ?.
the silicon thay use for making fish tanks is the window stuff , thay dont use any with antifungel because its poisions to fish also.

Beautiful bredli FNQ I absolutly love the species, they love their perches dont they?? I'll probably upsize my 7lt in a few months just to give him something different to explore and introduce him to natural branches and rocks with a few different hides and maybe some fake follage!! You can check my little guy out in a thread I posted!!

Use fishtank silicon for all animals it has nothing that is toxic to them in it, it can be a bit hard to find but your hardware store should be able to order it for you.

Dave as long as you do it a few weeks before hand you can heat the branch and push it through the plastic, make sure you wash the enclosure a few times afterwards and leave the lid off until you get your snake, all the toxins will then be washed off or evaporated.
