These hail stones were huge. Sounded like they were going to come through the roof.

This is the coolest cloud I have ever seen. It was this cloud that produced the hail stones.

Nice shots, those stones are huge. You see the green tinge around the cloud, that means its going to hail.

Not long after the hail started to come down, I had to run outside with an esky on my head to get the car in the car port. Even with an esky on my head they still hurt.

Good cloud. Can anyone tell me why you get a green tinge to clouds bearing hail stones?

id say its from the water particals feezing up with the gases exposed to the cold... i dunno thats just my guess

hope you find out what causes it, and if you do pease come back and tell us becuase i wouldn't mind knowing how it works....

did anyone see on the news a far while ago about the hail storm in musclebrook?? it was a fairly big one aswell.

i saw a guy come a massive gutza on his bmx trying to outrun the hail.....lol. He took the corner at the bottom of my hill and slipped on the white sheet of stones. Man it was a pi$$er of a slide....right into the gutter. :lol: :lol: :lol: poor kid!!! :lol:

So you got the same hail as we did Mr.K? Wagga is nore more then 30km from me, and they only got the little bits of hail.

It was quite bad down here in Wollongong. I was in the middle of feeding two diamonds on my lawn when the rain suddenly hammered down. The thunder was really loud and the lightning lit up the sky like floodlights. The power went out for 2 hours as well. The diamonds didnt care. They scoffed down their rats and ignored the whole storm.

The sky was angry yesterday my friends. It rumbled and grumbled like an old man with his underpants on backwards.

Nah, we only got hailstones the size of peas.
