Hi all, just a general question. I've recently taken in a rescue. His a beautiful placid Coastal Carpet. He was left in extremely bad conditions by previous owner, and the rescue centre I got him from had him feeling again on adult quail and starting to put on weight, however he was still came rather underweight when I took him in.
I know it's still rather cold and snakes sometimes refuse feed this time of year.
I'm worried as he is starting to loose weight again and he was starting to look health, and would just like to ask opinions before I start to freak out
Could he be refusing feed due to changing his diet from quail to rats?
I also own a 6yr old Centralian Carpet Python who feeds on rats and has no issues with taking feeds at the moment.
