Feeding Oops Wrong Tail

Well I was feeding 1 of my snakes (as always in a dark room). Anyway this 1 snake won't eat the mouse if it drops it. So you have to pick it up and give it to it again. Done this heaps of times.
Well this time I apparently grabbed the wrong tail with the tongs (not hard but just enough to piss it off)

Anyone else had similar thing occur.

You can't tell the difference between your snake's tail to a mouse?

One of my snakes latched onto me once and wouldn't let go. I tried all the tricks in the book. Eventually I resorted to biting her tail - she didn't like that at all. She let go, though.

i never feed mine in a dark room , i want to know where they are at all times during feeding . so im not on the menu

Not when it's dark and they both have white tails lol.
