No they can't survive here in the wild. There are wild population in NZ. He is verry friendly.

Lol thats kool... Ive always wanted a ferret but my mum would never let me... Since i moved out i have had just about everything but a ferret!! Alot of people say they bite, do the bites hurt?

they are pretty much like cats i suppose if u get a bad tempered cat it will scratch u n if u get a bad tempered ferret it will bite lol. i used to have a female she was sooo cute when she was preggers she didnt want me to leave her she gently grabbed hold of my finger as if to say please dont go
