I received some Fluon from the Herpshop and am about to apply it to containers i am going to be using for woodies and crix. Do I have to dilute the solution or do I apply it as it is? How many layers do I apply and how thick should the strip be to make sure the buggers dont escape? Is it necessary to have a lid? Cheers.

I've always applied as is, no need to dilute. Apply enough layers to give you a uniform white strip. 2 - 3 passes usually works. Suprising how little you actually use. Wipe it on with a cloth, is easy.

I find that less is better. if you cake it on then the ridges can act as purchase for the woodies to crawl up. One wide brush stroke seems to be more an adequate. I dont think you can dilute it. Brushes dont seem to wash well in water as if it is not water soluble. Certainly doesnt wash off when dry.
