To all those people who say not to handle snakes because they aren't handled in the wild, snakes don't get fed dead animals or kept in cages in the wild either but you don't seem to mind doing that for your own enjoyment. Stop being so hypocritical.

for someone who is only extremely new to the world of keeping snakes. maybe one day u will understand were alot of keepers come from and only chose to handle when its nessesary. less stress makes for a much happier and healthier snake.....

I agree with Stretch101, I pick mine up regularly and they don't seem to mind, then again they have the run of the lounge room when out and I just keep an eye on them, sometimes I just slide the glass door open so that if they want to slither out of the cage they have the option and most times I think they like to come out to have a good stretch and a nosey. So far though none of my snakes have shown any aggressive behavior by being handled and taken out of their home for a run and personally I think its healthy to give them time out of their enclosures. :D

At the end of the day it is your snake so it is your decision on how long and how much you handle your snake as everyone has there own opinions which is also good. :)

The only time I leave my snakes alone is for 2/3 days after feeding, for digesting purposes.
