Gosh you kids are cunning and cheeky these days. If my parents said no I didn't question them. Only ever tried it once and lost more of what I had. But I was allowed to have cute fluffy bunnies so ended up with 80 of them. Damn, plenty of snake food but there was no way my mum would allow any kind of reptile in her house or yard. I tried to save a red belly once - allowing it to live in the shed with my rabbits but me and my big blabba mouth had my dad go looking for it. He found it and he also found quite a few babies - no need to say what happened to them.

i convinced dad into getting me a snake by constantly talking about it as if we had already decided to get one. would show him photos of different types and be like 'which one should WE get?'
