Think about cost of maintaining too.

Snakes are pretty cheap and easy to maintain. Frogs may take more work like turtles do....

If you get a young snake it can live in a plastic container with a stick and small box and a small heat pad.

i think u need to think of the on going costs as others have mentioned. i know setting up and buying your pet is expensive and everybody likes to save money but you have to think about maintaing your animal. good luck with whatever u decide to get though. i would recommend a bluie
