how come my costal keeps pooin in his water bowl

I'm not sure where I heard it, or I have just hypothesised about it, but I thought it was something that a carpet did naturally to aid in the removal of the smell and "evidence" in a bid to secure its position?? Otherwise rodents would get the scent and avoid the area. I might be wrong, but it seems logical enough. Funny to consider that out of anywhere it could go in the entire cage, that's the spot

Be happy its in the water bowl .Is a lot easier to clean a bowl than around the whole cage. Although it seems to smell alot worse in the water bowl

Do you need to remove their poo as soon as you see it, or just as part of a weekly/twice weekly routine? Would the smell be noticeable from outside a click clack?

yea it stinks bad afta a few hours coz the bowl is under the heat light the water is warm so i think it makes it smell more

Mine always poo in their hides - would much rather it be in the water bowl as its easier to clean. Straight out of the window and onto the roses!

With the heat in the water it is more likely to for narsty bacteria (hope i spelt that right) and also goes off quicker! But if it is doing the whole poo in there! Think of it as awesome! my jungle sometimes decides to do half in there and then finish on the paper!

he dose the whole poo and i change it right away well soon as i see it but there is like a 500mm gap between the water and the heat lamp is that alrigth or shud i move it to the side
