How long to feed pinky mice?

Feed them fuzzies. Never bred ants, but all my carpets are on fuzzies by the 3rd-4th feed. Pinkies are good for smaller gear like hatchie elapids. Never weighed my food, but if you feed them right, they'll grow right. At those ages, they should be on something furry, unless they're problem feeders.

I sometimes put five similar sized rats or mice together on the scales and divided by five to make it easier with weighing small prey.

Yep...thats what I have been doing....although a couple of lots had such size variation they were a 'true' average...lol
