Hello all,

I received these photos from a friend and they said that the snake had been thrown over the fence dead.

Trying to determine what it is?

Cheers

Brettix is right like some of you's have said, look closey and you can see many features that make it different to a Keelback or Rough Scaled Snake.

what a shame to kill it

I have found out some more info, the snake was not thrown over a fence, it was found on the front lawn upside down. Could this be from a bird that may have dropped it???

Do you own any cats ?
Cats like to play with snakes until they die then just leave them.

Maybe the bird in the first pic did it? :D

Were there any puncture wounds etc?

Sorry team,

I don't know the full details, it was from a friend, the snake was found in Cairns, they have a cat, but I am unsure if its an outdoor cat. I'll see if I can get anymore info.
