yep, they seem like great snakes

thanks Jas, so they grow about as big as any other Carpet? For some reason i thought they didnt get that big.... :?
 
i have never seen any over 7ft mine was 6.5 nearly 7ft so i dont think they get to the size of coastals or other large pythons like that
 
Same size as other carpets, real jungles are the ones that stay small,my M-D s would be 7ft +.M-Ds would be bigger than bredlis,same size as diamonds and no quite as big as coastals imo.Coastals average about 6 ft in brisbane, the odd ones get double that.
 
just out of curiosity why do you want a small carpet? is it because of enclosure size and available space, because imo an 8ft snake doesnt look very big at all when coiled up in an enclosure. but MD diamonds and bredlis are a great snake, all reaching much the same size.

what is the species name for the murray darling??

I'm trying to find info on care sheets, but don't know which one to look??

Care sheet would be the same as Carpet python (coastal etc)
