I know I'm about to start something here, but here goes anyway. I really believe that we of the western world are getting rich and fat on the backs of other nations. Is it a surprise that the U.S. is hated? No. They are quick to point the finger to other nations when it comes to violating human rights but are even quicker to ignore their own violations. This is a country that imprisons and executes more of its own citizens than any nation in the world. The list goes on and on.

Do I believe Canada is clear and free of these viloations? No. We are still at war with a huge portion of our own population: our indiginous peoples. There are reserves here in this country were the conditons are so bad, they resemble the conditions of some of the homes of these so called 'enemies of freedom'.

I don't believe that wars are about freedom anymore. I don't think they have been for along time now. This war like all others, is about economics. I think it's safe to say there were no 'weapons of mass distruction', so really what was it all about?
