Hi there, wanting to import some snakes from qld to nsw but the nsw application form asks for the sellers movement number,.......... the seller has called today and told me that the e.p.a queensland has just changed everything online and now only gives a date, time and no number? how do i proceed? do i still need a movement number?

maybe give the DECC a call and talk to them about it.
I think that it would be the best way to get a proper answer.
otherwise I'd just say that its N/A

The date and time is the MA number. In our lic. books, the Date goes on the top line and the time on the next line down (in the MA number column).

Im not sure how this would transfer to the import permit, but may help.

you just apply for the NSW DEC import permit without the movement advice number. Just put TBA (to be advised) and as long as you have the sellers name, address or postal address and licence number, as well as your details.. pay the $20 and you will get the import licence.

When you receive the import licence, there will be another form that you have to fill in after you receive the animals to tell NSW DECC what date they were freighted, your import licence number and the sellers movement advice number (so add it then) and if the numbers on the permit were the same or different and if so why.

cheers
