i have a hoverbator incubator.
can sumone please walk me thru the incubating process?
do all types of eggs have the same requirements?
should i have a lid on the container in which my eggs are?
how often should i open the incubator?
and the lid of the container that my eggs are in?

any help would be great. i havent done this before and all my pairs seem to be breeding already so need knowledge fast

I would strongly suggest you get someone to show you how to mix the vermiculite / perlite.... not all eggs have the same requirements but those you listed can be all done at once, some eggs (mostly pythons) are alot less tolerant to varied temperatures, some eggs, like those you have listed will incubate fine in a warm room. Eggs should be placed in a sealed container, some breeders open the lids periodically, some leave be, some drill a couple of tiny holes in the lid for gas exchange....
Rule 1 with incubating eggs; Once you have them set and incubating, don't play with them, don't candle them ect, just leave them be. If they are dead they are dead, candling them won't make them come alive, so no need to do it. Definately don't open eggs you think should of hatched unless you really know what your doing.
It is viyal you understand how much moisture to mix in, you really don't need much at all, and most people mix way too damp. If you think there is too much moisture, ie; it's dripping off the lid onto the eggs, just remove the lid for half an hour at a time untill you have reached the humidity level you want. I prefer their to be minimal misting on the lower walls of the egg tub, and the lid dry, with no large droplets forming at all anywhere.
