Wow Jason - you've been in this a lot of yrs, have u seen it happen much? Not being sarcastic, it fascinates me with their behaviours - will have to keep an eye out (& no I'm not a sicko:lol:!) There was a thread the other day on exactly the same thing, must be fairly common?

yes I have seen this often, some individual females are quite dominant and do it all the time, but on average females don't.. I have had 2 females that were bullies and I saw them doing it on a weekly basis, to the extent they had to be seperated from the others, one was that bad she used to attack the males, the other was just dominant to other females and was a good breeder.

I don't think I've ever seen 3 tails that look so ambiguous, sorry I've got no idea, lack of hemipenes in any of them would lend me towards all females, but not sure at all. Why is it always so hard to sex them using pics, takes a couple of seconds in person. Not bad pics though, just hard to tell.

From my experience and the pics on both pages you have 2 males and 1 female. But i am not 100% postive.

Its quite common to have Beardie lesbians, but if you have homosexual beardies thats quite uncommon, I know its common in geckos but not so much in Beardies.

So if you have Homosexual Beardies, how much are you selling them for?? lmao

It may just be dominance, as I’m sure yall know by know only the largest, most dominant animals get to mate so it’s just something a lot of animals do. It can also be an ‘affection’ thing but wether or not that relates to reptiles I don’t know. You could always take them to get sexed properly to find out for sure, otherwise you could end up with little babies!

Except we are talking about lesbian dragons here. Instead, try playing some kd lang or Indigo Girls and see which ones sit around discussing their feelings...

My Eastern gets a black beard every now and then, and my two girls sit on each other all the time. They bite each others tails every now and then to determine dominance though. I wouldn't worry. If your girl becomes gravid, then you've got 2 boys and a girl!
