Hey guys my girl laid her 6th clutch about 5 days ago and the air sacks have on risen to the side of the eggs and one almost to the top but to the side
they have stayed like that for 2 days... ps . i marked them before touching

so my question is perhaps she moved them after been layed and Ive actually mark somewhere else and where the air sacks have risen that is really the top.
so should i rotate the eggs so that the air sacks appear on the top?
or just leave them be.

thanks guys

Really need some experienced help

Im not experianced but from watching videos and reading books i have learnt you need to find the pink circle on the egg. So candle it and try to find that and put that to the top i hope this is right i saw an experince keeper(Danny Brown) on a video and he said he doesnt mark the eggs untill he is about to put them in the incubator.http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tRPFkX7t1Ts

Go to 5minutes into that video and you should see what im talking about

In years past when I candled I would adjust the egg so the pink ring was on top and I never had any ill affects. A few years ago I stopped candling my eggs(for reasons stated below) In tern I don't adjust them anymore and I still have the same results. From what I have read it takes a few days after the ring appears for it to adhere to the side of the egg.

Both ways have worked equally well for me. The reason why I don't candle any more is about 4 years ago while I was candling a gecko egg it spun around and split the egg. It was within few days of absorbing all its yolk. Needless to say it was a goner.

Reptile eggs are a little more resilient then most give them credit for. At the end of the day the decision is yours. If they were my eggs would just leave them alone and incubate. Hope this helps.

Regards, Patrick

dragon what im saying is with my other eggs the pink circle which to what i refered to as the air sack have went to the top but for this egg its just stayed on the side, im gonna leave it till tommorow because its clutch mates has risen to the top (really white egg) ill just wait and see it could be a slow egg because its a yellowy color but still shows life
