Lighting at night

Hi all,

Is there such thing as a "night light" that I can use to light up my snakes enclosure at night that DOESN'T provide heating and one that won't distress the snake? I wouldn't be having it on all night, just between the hours of when the sun goes down and when we would be going to bed?

We never get to see him so it would be nice to be able to view him moving about at night. I'm using a heat mat hence why I'd like a lamp that doesn't heat.

You can put whatever light, but remember that he then won't come out until you turn it off probably, I just have a light in the room that makes soft glow enough that can see him but doesn't light the enclosure, he comes out more if the lights are off but if he doesn't come out you can see him.

I run blue LEDs for a couple of hours after my primary light goes off. The snakes are active under it and Ican sit there and watch them out and and about.

I added a hue led strip/globe in my enclosures. Put them on timers to come on after heat lights go out. Works well when using moonlight scenes.

I think I got them on ebay; they were bought a few years ago and they are still working. Will see if I can find a name and message you.
