I forgot to mention too, what was the snake eating with her previous owner? Try going back to mice and see if that makes any difference. Rats smell different to mice so she could very well be turned off to the unfamiliar smell if she isn't use to it.

She has also shed about 5 weeks ago as for being gravid cant be sure but she was housed with 2 yearling jungles and I think she would be showing by now I'm not to worried yet like I said I might try the live killed and see how that goes.

When I feed I let the feed defrost and get warm in the sun if by chance they are not quite done I will put them into a bucket of hot tap water to warm them up I also use long tongs she shows interest until she gets really close then backs way and hides.

try a freshly killed rat but dont try live rats.

I personally wouldnt advise your defrosting method and wouldn't put thawed or thawing rodents in the sun.

when I defrost any sized rodent I run the hot water tap in the sink until it runs hot.. then put the plug in and fill it up to an appropriate depth.. toss the rodent /s in and keep checking until they are properly defrosted. the smaller the item the quicker it takes. sometimes I drain the water and refill with hot tap water if the rodent / s are a larger size and take a bit longer.

when thawed.. I pick up by the tail and drain them a bit and feed staright away.. just because the fur may be wet  doesn't matter one bit.. and probably helps the snake swallow the rodent if anything..

I dont bother drying them under "hairdryers" or putting in "micro-waves" (dont do this) or any other unusual methods I've read on here..

as I said... I just drain some of the excess water off while holding the tail and in they go and usually get smashed first go :D

Its better to feed them individually in a tub. just hold the rodent with the tongs (near the rear of the rodent) and offer it head first..

If more members took on board the excellent and knowledgeable advice that Ramsayi has to offer, there would be a lot more happy reptiles out there.

I think you've just completely disregarded some excellent advice. Separate them, wait a while, then try feeding again. Just because she ate while living with two other snakes does not mean that she'll eat while living with yours.

I don't think anyone has mentioned (on this thread) that feeding them together can be a problem if they get tangled while "killing their prey" (even if it is already dead).

So much wrong with what was posted.... well thats why we put it out there to see what weight it carries:D.

Oh and its worms they can get from the live stuff isn't it?!

All the best with your snakes.
