Hey guys,
im doing a uni assignment and need to name and describe symptoms and management of two metabolic diseases in reptiles. I have metabolic bone disease already and cant think of another one!! help sil vouz plait!

Maybe if you didn't use the French thing in Australia u would've done better with a reply. I'd be ringing herp vets in your area or beyond to see if u can get an interview.
 
calcium and vitamin deficiencies would be associated with metabolic disorders. In lizards, swollen limbs and twitching toes are symptoms of calcium deficiency and/or Vitamin D3 (UV). Dis-orientated movement could be related to similar - calcium deficient or rickets. Soften shells in turtles is another calcium and/or UV deficiency.

Thats all I can think of for now.

And as for mbd, to my knowledge there is only one kind. What specifically did you want to know? There are a lot of great resources online that can give you jist of it.
 
If its a uni assignment, why not just get a reptile vet book out from the library, or do some sort of litterature search. I dont know if forum discussions are the best place to get accurate information.
