Hey guys!
how are u all!!

well,i have just put my lacey into his new enclosure!a large indoor one! going sweet,he's loving it!..one thing iam worried about..he's eating little stones... .i have kept monitors befor a Sand and a small nile over in southern africa but iv never seen this..well..um the gravel iam using for my lacey is a mixture between desert sand, mulch bark and small stones (there is more bark and sand than the stones alot more)..but he is digging around thru the substrate, and digging up "certain" small stones and swollowing them!..he's eatin about 3 already! they r small stones! wich would be eazy for him to pass out thru him!but still im worried and dont like that he's doing it! why does he find a fascination in these stones and eats them?..he actually picks out certain stones and eats them and leaves others....

any way,any help from a experienced monitor owner would be greatly appreaciated!
cheers.
