I've hady little woma for a while now and I have noticed he has cloudy eyes I am site he is having his first shed in my care.

How long does this process take?

Should I feed him?

Will he eat me if I touch him? Don't anwser that one I no the answer

Ooooh how exciting! The process takes about a week on average, maybe 5 days, maybe 6 days, it really depends on your snake. You don't need to feed him during his shed, snakes tend to become a bit lethargic until they've shed (and I'd imagine it's probably not a great deal of fun). Just leave him be until he sheds.

i have a bhp witch should be similar and he sheds about a week after going cloudy ,hides most of the time and doesnt eat ,i leave him alone till few days after shed ,he doesnt like to be anoyed around shedding times

Mine took about 1/2n hour depend's on age i think? Her eye's cleared up then next day cleaning out the other enclosesure she started .

check your humidity % too. Might pay to boost it a bit if they are low. Helps with the shed process

Yeh I'm not fussed about the humidity, I want to lift his hide to see what's going on but then I have to pick him up to put his hide down again. So I'll just wait till end of the week befor I check on him

okay he has had his first shed. is it normal for the shed to be all shrivelled up? thought it was a big poop at first haha but i was wrong

lol yeah cant seem to tell my woma to do a proper shed so i can at least keep one of them. shes shed 3 times and all three was like a rolled up sock. and combined with pee. lol

Can you get a picture up of the shed? It's probably fine, when they shed sometimes they can be kind of rolled up with just the tail part of the shed straight, if that makes sense.

i think thats pretty normal my had my bhp for over 2 years and only got one good skin of him because of the sane thing he usualy sheds in his hide and scrunches his skin up before i can get it

Yeah most of my snakes sloughs are rolled up, only occasional ones are full length (coincidentally my male Bredl's shed on Sunday & it was a full length one)

if you are quick enough and it hasn't had chance to dry, you can actually unroll them, if they have dried dip the rolled end in warm water from a minute or two, unroll a little until it feels stiff again, repeat until fully unrolled, make sure you have a peg handy though, its not the most pleasant smell in the world.

Shedding comes down to your snake, my diamonds and BHP'S take 6-10 days, and my womas, both of them about 3-4 days theres are always over so quick...

Yeh he did it pretty quick.
I just put my hand in his enclosure about 10 mins ago and he kinda charged at me and hissed first time he has shown any aggresion freaked me out a bit
