My big girl finally laid her eggs post prelay of 32 days and it was worth the wait as she dropped 27 pearly white ones,so u can't complain about that.
It took her from 5am this morning till 1030 am to drop the last one, and I got too be there for it all.

Good one Kurt, pretty good achievement given that a lot of keepers have trouble breeding olives.

i got a pair the other week, beautiful creatures...

Congratulations on the eggs,is 27 a good size clutch from a Olive, what do they generally have..What size and weight would the female be...All the best with the incubating...Some say Olives are harder to breed than other species, why would that be...If they were giving the right enviroment such as cooling and increasing temperature etc why are they harder....

This is "Pearl" our Albino female. I hope she will produce REAL pearly whites, but will be happy with a lesser nimber!

Well done Kurto.....

She's a big girl alright....can't wait for my pair to get that big,....like wokka, they should produce some "pearly" whites as well....;)

Some pics buddy boy....

Thankx for the comments guys and yes she weighed in at 11.6 kgs about 2 months ago and she is 10ft +.
its a fairly big clutch for an olive but i know of some one who had 32 last seaon (or was it 22 ??)

Ramsayi i have found this to be the case even with a good male as i missed her last season but looks to be worth the wait.

Don't worry Brett ur first on the list for a female, hows my little one doing that u got from me two seasons ago?
