Gday all!
I got my first snake, a Children's Python approximately 2 years old, from a reptile store in my city. They're also the owners/operators of the reptile zoo here as well!
We've named her Lavender and she's been settling in now for 3 days. Her setup is almost identical to how she was kept at the store, with the addition of some fake lavender as her namesake. Which has been really awesome cause she's take to snuggling up under it!
I'm very excited and resisting temptation to take her out and handle her. She was fed the day I bought her home and she hasn't regurgitated her meal, which I'm taking to mean she's not too stressed!
I've also setup one of my Arlo security cameras pointed at the enclosure so I can peak in on her nocturnal movements (added a pic to this post)
Looking forward to reading, contributing and becoming part of the community
I've since updated her enclosure to include a second hide, for the hot side
