yes you can breed pet shop mice. they normally have between 7-12 pinkies alitter. i breed super mice that have around 20 alitter

How often do they have a little do u need to separate the babies from the adults when born? ?

Pet shop mice are ok too, most mice will breed as long as you keep them well fed, keep them clean and dont expose them to extreme cold or heat.
I picked up some hairless mice and carriers of the gene the other day, they are interesting critters

Fish tanks are very hard to clean out, i wouldn't advise using a fish tank to breed rodents but you could quite easily.

If a male is kept in with the females at all times they can have litters every 3 weeks. You don't need to separate them.

their pregnant for about 3 weeks, mum/s need to be left with the pinkies to feed them. it takes about 3 weeks for the pinkies to grow to weaners where they can be removed from mum. i leave my males in the tubs with mum and the babies. that way mum will nearly be ready to drop another litter when you wean the others

I leave my mice in colonies, never taking any of them out. They seem to self regulate when they have litters. I don't use mice for anything except hatchlings so I remove the pinkies the day they're born. I find my mice don't breed if there's already a litter being raised(unless some were already pregnant).

So If ur going to like use them as food while there pinkies Do u just kill them and freeze them?
