Notification Glitch?

Hey guys,
Lately I have been getting notifications saying someone has quoted my post but when I look it turns out it was someone else quoting another persons post (it only seems to happen in threads I have previously had my posts quoted in), is anyone else experiencing this?

I am also experiencing this, i use a macbook and use google chrome if it has something to do with the computer or internet software

Not that I am aware off, I will check next time it happens.
