here is a bhp bred by Tim at www.ultimatereptiles.com.au it is aptly named brain. hope you enjoy and hope they work out properly also another pic of an animal that is just crazy looking just not a bhp but a gtp and myself its not really for a bhp thread but i resized them at the same time so i thought i would chuck it in there.

Cheers Rick

p.s why did you name it brain Tim?

Funnily enough i prefer brain than the green...there was a pic of you with a hot looking green tho a while back Ricko....some are so plain while some are incredible!!!

the green was a hot snake with a fair few white dots on it but thats not the best pic for it, but i wont go puttin heaps of green pics up here as its a bhp thread maybe another day in another thread  that green was 2years old i think god i still remember it like the other day holding those things :)

well there ya go didnt relise it was me i thought it was you :) alwell still a great snake. here is a sibling to brain

i believe it is a wild caught one and not sure what is happening with it we need an update dont we?

The so called Bumble bee is doing well and in a breeding program in Queensland. Hopefully we will have matings this year. The question remains though is what to put it over as we only have one of this colour morph.

Just a regular bhp,if it is a dominant gene the trait will show up in the first generation if not breed the first generation with each other and the trait shows up it would be a recessive trait with approx 1/4 of each clutch showing the trait.....bhp's....not that big a project to find out as bhp's only have small clutches.I would love one of those over a green anyday!!!

Are BHPs good first pythons to keep? What are their temperaments like? Nice pics by the way. :p

I would highly recommend a bhp as a first snake, just as easy to keep as any carpet it's just the price that puts first timers off. They can huff and puff a bit but it's all bluff and they're awesome pythons to keep!!!

Hey Tim can you put some updated pics up of brain and his sibling by any chance? they should be a bit bigger now wouldnt they?

Anyone here selling a bhp hatchling for a reasonable price? I am actually more interested in a gtp. Been looking for a couple of months with no success. >:|

Ricko they are awsome looking bhp's I want one, two three oww heaps they are beautiful, the gtp is ok but prefer the bhp's,
Love the "bumble bee" Guys we are doing so well. Was that an Albino bhp I saw ( sorry cant remeber who posted it)?
Good luck finding a GTP and as a first snake???????
Im with you Browns , but as you said, go for the bhp as a first python orsm, they are great, and as browns said its just the price that stops more people havin them.

I like the look of it. Admitedly I have been told that GTP is a hard snake to keep especially for a first snake.

Thanks for the advice guys. Anyone in Sydney selling pythons that have good temperament? Nothing too big, maximum 2m as I only live in a unit and don't have the space for large enclosures. I put an ad in the WTB section for a pygmy python but there doesn't seem to be anyone selling. :( Sorry for hijacking this post.

I thought these were good pics of my mates Bhp, laying....right place, right time i guess....my place, anytime....i wish :)
