sick people the bunch of ya......its not the toads fault..its the stupid idiots that introduced them he....you call yourselves herpers....well guess what....come closer...bit more...thats it...toads are apart of that group...introduced yes...but apart of that...group..there is less cruel ways a disposing of them other than mindless rednecked semi herper with golf clubs and tennis rackets..
look I this sorta thread can go on and on and on about cane toad and some one sulkin about murdering this SOB but think of all the quolls and reptiles and amphibians that are being killed the toxins that the toad produce and if you wanna whinge can go jump as far as I am concerned cause the fact is eventually the only Aussie reptile you will probaly see in 20 year are the ones in captivity unless we can do something sooner then later and I hope that never come to be but.......

Yeah lets think about, cars, polution of our waterway, habitat distruction, pestecides, herbasides, biological pest controls (cane toads), introduced plants(lantana, groucile)...all human .....created with the same lack of respect to the environment...I would like to stick some mondless humans on the end os a stick

Oh and another thing to think about is that dingos were introduced 100 of years ago, and I wonder what species became exstinct becouse of them, it is the same with toad their here to stay no matter what you do, its a humin mistake and in a couple of hundred years from now will aslo be called native just like the dingo..

hmmmm .......i can think of a few things!

i mean, im not for cruelty to animals (lil innocent me?!? ) seriously, and i know the toad was no-where near the first introduced species to wreak havoc on this country (rabbits, anyone? ), but if they are posing a major threat to our ecological system, they should be dealt with, in one way or another and all cruelty put aside, they gotta be controlled sumhow!
