A family member of mine has a diamond python with what I'd consider to be pin head syndrome. Every time I see the poor thing I can't help but feel sorry for it. The animal would have to be close to 4yrs old now and be about 8-9 feet long. But know matter what I say he won't change his feeding ritual. Some people just won't listen - or care about the animals best interest's.

From what i understand of the theory is that if you pump/overfeed/skarf a python in its younger years the body will grow faster than the skull, which is a load of crock..

I wanna see photos too lol :p

Sad times Jas, when a entire species must suffer, poor critters.. epidemic.. pfft..
i think were looking at this going pandemic! :|

Mate, it's worse than you think, it's effecting wild populations too, here's one I found a while back, the only way I could work out which end it's head was on, was by the direction it was going!!

That's an interesting thing to say. If pin head syndrome is real what effect does it have on a snakes well being?

^^ That's not that unusual. Nearly all the wild water pythons i have caught up here have looked pretty similar to Sdaji's.
