10 year old female has recently shed. It took her almost 2 months to shed out. I gave her a few days to recover, she still didn't want to eat. She's not sneezing, or coughing, there's no saliva bubbles. I'm sure that its not a respiratory infection. She still has some orange spots on her underside??? I can't remember the last time this has happend with her when she wasn't sick with an infection. it's semi typical that carpets will stop eating from time to time during mating seasons, should I be worried?? Any insight is helpful. Thank You

You haven't really given any clear indication of what the problem is, but you suggest that there is a history of infection. What do you mean by "2 months to shed out?"

Ive seen similar things that might have been linked to husbandary issues.
I would give her a good soak to loosen up the dead skin, you might have to do this a couple of times but you need to get it all off, including tail tip, eyes, snout etc the orange colour on the belly is actually from bacteria.
Give the tank/cabinet a thorough clean, change the substrate and disinfect everything and if you can leave it in the sun for a day or two all the better, replace or disinfect any logs, decorations etc. You need to be fairly vigilant and remove any scats, shed bits of skin etc before she has a chance to slide over or lay on them.
A shed drawn out over 2 months is way too long, if she sheds in bits and pieces you need to intervene and help her out otherwise it starts to decompose whilst still attached and can lead to bigger problems. In future when she is looking ready to shed her skin start misting her with a over the counter product for assisting with shedding.
Also it wouldnt hurt to go see a decent reptile vet to give her a once over, check her mouth for cocci and also a muscular vitamin B injection will do wonders.
All the best

The 2 months to shed out comment is really not telling us much. Is it 2 months since she started the cycle or does she have dry skin that she didn't remove? Need to supply accurate info if you want sound advice.
