Hi...all
i wanna get my spotted probed to find out if it really is a he, or a she.
I live on the north side of brisbane. Does anyone on here probe snakes and lives in the general vacinity?? or know a decent vet up that way that can??

Only just moved to the north side so dont really know....where anything is up there and i dont wanna drive far with jasta in the car again, he wasn't a huge fan of it when we moved house and he let me know this when i tried to feed him.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

there is a good reptile vet at redcliffe i think

forget his name tho

i live near stafford and go to one there

jus wrap him up in a towel/pillow case and put him in a click clack

he'll be right brus!

sorry he or she!

i use those soft zipable esky bags to transport the snakes, throw in a sock filled with rice thats microwaved till its warm and a face washer and they go in voluntarily.

have had one sitting on my desk at work like that fro 8 hours with just a nose poking out and didnt seem stressed at all.

i found one at stafford???
gillian i think
$20 bucks to get it probed lol.

should i take him after i feed him or b4 :/ hes really bitey if i haven't fed him first.

before, snakes shoudnt be handled with full bellies.

i hope they dont expect me to hold him :( him and i dont get along when hes hungry. any other day im fine with him now but the 2 days coming up to a feed... hes crazy.

They probably will.. My snakes were already sexed but the vet re did it for free when I went in with the male.. He is a cranky bugger.. While he was getting probed I had to hold him by the head and he didn't like it

hes not... NASTY as such... he just... thinks EVERYTHIGN is food when hes hungry. hide, hook, hand, paper towel.. and he doesn't let go..
pm sent voodoo

take him in 2 or 3 days after a feed then,..like once hes digested but before he gets nippy again,... :)

Agree.

I use Gillian Hudson at Stafford and she is very good. Bit of a drive from Kallangur though.
