Ok Cass, my brother got signs printed with will you marry me michelle and spaced them up castle hill, then lucky me had to get her to go for a run up there with me and cleverly tell her to run ahead cause i was buggered to my brother who, unknown to her, was waiting at the last sign at the top..She didn't even click until she saw her name on the last sign.... Now I know he can't run up there but how bout you go for a drive up in your car. Mt Stuart would work too!!!

I was thinking from the start you should put a not around Dodges neck! Then i saw you said it too... i reckon it would be cute...he'd be like "hey... what's that around his neck?" and you'd be like "huh" and he'd be like "oh look a note" and then he'd read it and it would say "will you marry me" and then he'd wonder why dodge was proposing to him... then realise it's YOU. See i've planned it out every step of the way!!!

My idea is to do a car rally with clues leading him all over the joint, to your favourite spots, or spots that mean something to the both of you and then at the end come to a sign (or you) and the proposal!

Go find one of those macines that you can put $1.00 in and get a toy out of.. Some of them have little plastic rings in them. Take him to the shops with a puse full of $1.00 coins and keep putting your money in until a ring comes out, he will think what the hell are you waisting your money for, until you get one with a ring and propose. Corny but fun!!!

LOL well im not allowed to do a quick marriage... just spoke to my dad, step mum, mum and step dad....
Probably will have the wedding on his birthday which isnt until april.... he may be really sick by then so we'll just play it by ear and see what happens in Nov... i mean health wise....
I'm quite sure i would be distracted at Paronella Park.... Paluma, Mt Stuart and Malanda are our 'special' places...
Think ill do the Dodge thing on the thursday arvo before we leave in Nov....

I know it'd be hard not to want to have a quicker than normal wedding and if you wait til April will that be a bit too far away??? Hey maybe you could have it over xmas/new year.... while I'm already up there???? Maybe xmas day!!! then the important people will only be able to make it!! hehe!!! or xmas eve or boxing day????

My hubby and I got married New Years Eve (just gone).
It was an at home wedding and we just had a huge party to follow, it was great as most rellies were still around after xmas.
Listen to all opinions but most of all listen to your heart and what it is telling you to do, and if you dont want to wait then dont wait.
Just a note you need to sign papers a month before you actually get married.
