hi im wandering how long it takes for a rat to poop out? the problem is i gave 1 that was bigger than its girth? will it still try to digest it properly?

How much bigger? It should be fine. You should always be able to see a noticeable bulge (so, bigger then the girth).

normally takes around 5 days till your snake will pass the waste. just make sure your snake has heat and it will digest the rat. you will notice the bulge will be gone in a couple of days

That isn't necessarily the rat he ate 5 days ago. Quite often the poop you see is from a feed from weeks back. Just make sure the temperatures are up nice and warm to aid digestion.

is this your first snake? because I use to be like that when I got my first snake, so nervous. Trust ME it will poo! just give it time and relax!

When they get really full looking by the vent region, some handling and exercise can help get things moving. Sometimes it's best to be around a hard floor or outside in these cases - and NOT wearing your best clothes!
