hey i was just wondering why its not beneficial to pick you your python after feeding for the next 2 day or so? i did a quick search but couldent find anything?

Because it can stress the snake out and increase the chances of them regurgitating their food. It's better to leave them alone until the lump has gone down (usually 2-3 days).

After a snake eats something (and therefore as a large lump), it makes it more difficult for it to escape if it were attacked, etc. If you stress the snake during this period, it is very possible that the snake will regurgitate the food so that it may escape if needed (this is a natural response). It's not something that you want to do to your animal.

Why would it be beneficial for the snake? What could the snake possibly get out of being handled whilst digesting food?

just dont over handle when theyve eaten and avoid touching the food lump.

its ok to still move the snake back into its cage or let it out for some sun, just be careful.
